Lazyweb – Read it, but now can’t find it: information grazing in an expanding web

I read a lot, not being able to find things I have read in the past became such an problem at one time that I installed a firefox extension called slogger to log every site I ever visited. This allowed me to type a phrase into a search box and search only sites that I had read – perfect. But slogger became abandonware. Ma.gnolia which looked like a contender has suffered catestrophic data loss. So where to now to search only the pages I have visited? Ideas welcomed.

  1. I use FireFox’s ScrapBook extension. Besides archiving what you want to keep, it allows you to delete unwanted page elements, make notes, highlights, etc.

You can save pages to your own hierarchy of folders, and in multiple collections.

And finally, something you should find particularly useful — it has a search feature!

    Hope this helps
